Each year KY EXCEL, through Kentucky's Energy and Environment Cabinet, recognizes individuals and organizations for their commitment to improving Kentucky's environment. Klausing Group received the Small Business Pacesetter Award for our work in green infrastructure and for providing educational opportunities for
the community including students, garden clubs, USGBC, LFUCG Department of Environmental Quality, and other professionals.
This year's award was presented by the Lieutenant Governor, Jenean Hampton, and the Secretary of the Energy and Environment Cabinet, Charles Snavely, at the 40th Governor's Conference on Energy and the Environment. Klausing Group is grateful and humbled to be presented this honor surrounded by so many people working towards the same goal of a more sustainable and healthy future for Kentucky.
